Repair Cafes are volunteer-led community initiatives that help save people money and keep unnecessary waste from landfill. 

Simply: people bring damaged items and local volunteer experts sit down with them to do their best to repair them. These repairs are offered to the public for free but a small koha/donation is appreciated to help cover running costs (tools, consumables such as nails/screws, tea and coffee). Timecredits are accepted as payment for the work done.
