A Kaitaia Xmas Timebank Celebration and Permaculture tour

Massive thanks to all Timebankers from Te Hiku who attended our Timebank Xmas Social on 14th December. It was a fantastic way to end the year and spend time together. Connections were made, we enjoyed a delicious shared lunch, conversations had and even a Birthday Celebration for one of our Timebankers who attended! Lovely to share Nancy's birthday with her. We had around 20 people attend with two new members to join.

Huge thank you to Gaye and Brian Simms for being fabulous hosts and giving their time to show us around their spectacular Permaculture designed gardens and wood-work shed. Couldn't have done it without you! Everyone learnt a thing or two and really enjoyed the day. I personally went away feeling inspired to garden smarter, not harder and to work with the land in a more meaningful way.

As a Timebank member, Gaye earns Timecredits for the time put in to preparing and hosting the Timebank social. If you'd like to host one of our Timebank socials, please get in touch. It's great to have these regular social events to enable Timebank members to connect, get to know each other, share experiences, making those future Timebank exchanges easier!

Wishing you all a safe and Merry Christmas and we look forward to more Timebanking in the New Year.

Nga mihi nui
