New Local Coordinator for Te Hiku

We're really pleased to welcome Caryl Doherty-Walker to the Tai Tokerau Timebank coordination team. She's taking on the role for the whole of Te Hiku.

We're glad not to be losing Shona Macdonald, the former Local Coordinator for Te Hiku West as a colleague though; she is going to be focusing on her Trust Communications role, and social media support for several of the other programmes under Te Pokapū Tiaki Taiao O Te Tai Tokerau Trust, especially the Māra Kai O Te Hapori Community Garden in Kaitāia, and the EcoCentre Kaitāia.

Now over to Caryl...

Kia ora koutou! I'm excited to be joining the Tai Tokerau Timebank team as local coordinator for Te Hiku. Timebank is a fantastic way to not only share skills and resources, but to make connections within our community and I'm excited to be a part of it! As a born and bred local, I'm looking forward to bringing our community together and meeting members of the Timebank community as well as organising some fantastic workshops. I'll be attending working bees and will be in touch with members in the upcoming weeks to assist with any requests/offers or anything timebank related!
