Try your hand at Mindful Kintsugi

The July workshop in the Whangārei Creative Communities funded series is on Kintsugi; the Japanese art of repairing pottery with gold: Celebrate imperfection as part of the whole with somatic mindfulness.




It will be held at St Stephen’s Church Community Rooms, Onerahi, Whangārei Saturday 22nd July, 1.30-4.30pm


Timebanker’s credits: 3 Non-members: Koha

Join us for a cosy winter afternoon with Mui Leng who will begin the workshop with a body-based mindfulness meditation. Followed by an optional sharing circle and introduction to Kintsugi practise.


This is beginner level Kintsugi suitable for simple cracks fitting together with no gaps. All materials supplied, pottery is available or bring your own.
