Whangārei Plant Swaps

Whangārei Crop and Plant Swap is run by wonderful Timebank member, Sue Lawrence.

Held every 3rd Sunday each month at He Awhi Rito, it’s becoming more and more popular.

These swaps are much more than about plants – they’re an important social gathering where friends are made and a shared love of gardening is enjoyed! Their reach extends beyond Timebank members, so there’s an opportunity to connect with a wide group of local garden-lovers.

Often there are plants left over and the raised beds at He Awhi Rito have benefited from some of the ‘unswapped’ veggie seedlings! Anyone is welcome to help themselves to the veggies in these raised beds and if you have any spare seedlings – please plant them out.

Next swap is 15th Sept and you’ll find it advertised on the Timebank website Events | Tai Tokerau Timebank and for Whangārei Timebank members Sue generally posts it on our private FB page.
